• Welcome to Elephant Pharm

Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most popular forms of complementary medicine.

Acupuncturists, who are trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), use needles to stimulate the flow of "vital energy," known as "Qi" (pronounced "chee"), that circulates through a series of invisible channels in the body, known as meridians. The goal is to bring the body back into balance so that it can correct itself.

When you consult with an Elephant acupuncturist, you'll be asked questions about your health, your symptoms and often your general diet and lifestyle. The practitioner will look at the color and shape of your tongue and its coating, and will feel pulses in different positions on each of your wrists. They'll then advise you on the different acupuncture protocols that might be right for you.
